Look Mum No Computer

A musical twin-stick shooter by The Bitfather and Look Mum No Computer
During the development of the RPG Kaleidosphere — originally planned to be set in the Pixel Heroes universe — we had the opportunity to connect with the brilliant musician and tech innovator Sam Battle, better known as Look Mum No Computer. Famous for his viral YouTube projects like the Furby Organ or the Megadrone synthesizer (which even earned him a Guinness World Record), Sam’s work is a fascinating blend of music and engineering.
As longtime fans, we approached him after one of his shows, when he took time to chat with his audience. We pitched the idea of creating a game together, and over the following months, we developed a concept that truly captures the essence of his work. The result is more than just a twin-stick shooter — it’s an interactive musical experience. Players don’t just fight their way through the game; they also get to remix and manipulate Sam’s music, turning gameplay into a dynamic soundscape.
In this project, I played a key role in game design, some level design, and project management, ensuring that the vision translates into a compelling player experience. Additionally, I handle communication with the publishing team at Headup, making sure the game reaches its full potential.
