
Tinkertown

Game developer and project manager for Tinkertown.
As my first project as a game developer at Headup Games, I worked on the sandbox game called Tinkertown.
Tinkertown is a 2.5D role-playing game that impresses above all with its pixel graphics but also its multiplayer function. Over the development period of 4 years, Tinkertown was able to build up a large community, with whom we as developers were in regular contact in order to implement the wishes and ideas of the players.
In addition to the development of new functions and the further development of the existing code, I supported the creation of pixel art for new items or effects. I was also responsible for many of the sound effects used.
During my work on TInkertown, my area of responsibility also changed: at the beginning, I was employed purely as a programmer, but as time went on, my work shifted more and more to project management, which meant that by the end of the project I was hardly actively involved in the development of the game.
