About Me

Hi, welcome to my portfolio website.
Hi, I’m Manuel Krusy – a project manager and creative all-rounder from Germany’s Ruhr area, with a hands-on approach to creativity, technology, and storytelling. I studied Design (Film & Sound) at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund and co-founded the indie developer team The Bitfather, where we created the role-playing game Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic as well as a collaborative game with YouTuber Look Mum No Computer.
Over the years, I have worked in a wide range of roles – from project and product management to game design, software development, web design, video production, and sound design. This interdisciplinary background enables me to oversee projects from both a creative and technical perspective.
My approach: learning by doing. My formal design education provides a strong foundation, but my real strength lies in practical experience, curiosity, and the drive to explore new paths. I have acquired skills across diverse fields and consistently proven my ability to deliver results with passion and commitment.
Most recently, I served as Head of Studio at Goon Squad, where I led a six-person team, implemented efficient workflows, and managed multiple projects in parallel.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring my interests in astronomy and space exploration, making music, or experimenting in the kitchen.
